Awards
- 2016 Winner of Google WomenTechMakers Award (Previously Google Anita Borg Memorial Program) with a cash prize of $ 5,000 and a fully funded trip to attend the Annual Asia Pacific Google Scholars retreat. Only 7 candidates were chosen from Australia, and I was the first to represent Monash University since 2012.
- 2016, First place winner & People’s Choice Award winner at the FIT Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition
- 2015, Winner Google Student Award to attend Web for All (W4A) Doctoral Consortium in Florence, Italy
- 2013, Gold medal for best undergraduate research out of 20 others at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka
- 2013, Gold award for the best solution in National Best E-Science and Technology Awards, Sri Lanka
- 2013, Gold award for the best tertiary student project in Sri Lanka at the National Best Quality Software (NBQSA) Awards
- 2013, Best Research and Presentation awards at Annual Academic Sessions, College of Forensic Pathologists, Sri Lanka
